The Phenomenon of TikTok Carousel Posts
TikTok Photo Mode allows creators to upload multi-image carousels that users swipe through horizontally while an attached viral sound plays in the background. It is currently one of the highest engagement formats on the app for memes, recipes, and aesthetic photo dumps.
How to Save Every Carousel Slide in Original Resolution
Taking screenshots leaves ugly black borders, TikTok username tags, and interface buttons. Using tikdtok parses the slideshow metadata and gives you direct access to download each slide in original uncompressed JPEG/PNG resolution.
- Paste the slideshow URL in tikdtok and you can download all slides with one click.
- Each image retains its original uploaded aspect ratio and color depth.
Saving the Background Song Alongside the Photos
In addition to saving the high-res images, tikdtok allows you to extract the full 320kbps MP3 audio file attached to the photo carousel with a single tap.
